  • Dr. Alema is prominent Afghan scholar in the fields of social sciences and philosophy. She has twenty years of professional experiences in conflict analysis, development and project management in conflict and post-conflict settings. She is the author of publications on German-Afghan foreign relations as well as on women empowerment in Afghanistan. She is a famous women rights and human rights defender in Afghanistan and across the world. She has presented lectures to academic institutions on philosophy and social development. She gives interviews and participates in round-tables in national and international media as an Afghan relations expert to international community. She is a professional trainer and moderator in the fields of human rights, humanitarian law with focus on refugees, immigrants and displaced persons. She has experienced employments across sectors including non-profit and government agencies.

  • Mr. Khalil Raufi is the elected secretariat member of CS_JWG- Civil Society Joint Working Group and founder of AYSEO_ Afghanistan youths social and Educational Organization.  Mr. Raufi is a well-known Civil Society Activist, human rights defender and media expert in Afghanistan. He starts his volunteer work with civil society organization by establishing of Youth Development Center on 2002. He is holding Bachelor of Psychology from Kabul Education University. He also has a Diploma of Special Leadership and Management from HIHE University. Mr. Raufi attended in several International conferences on Human rights and civil society, peace, democracy and good governance in India, Dubai, Thailand and Sweden international conference for Afghanistan he was speaker of Afghanistan civil society and representative of youth. He was one of the co-leader to manage and organize the Afghanistan National Youth Peace Jirga in 2012.

  • Mr. Sayed Abdullah Ahmadi is working as Executive Director of Afghanistan Democracy and Development Organization (ADDO) since 2015. He is elected Leading member and Chairperson of Civil Society Joint Working Group (CSJWG). He also worked as Director of Cooperation Center for Afghanistan (CCA), a leading human rights organization. He is member of Media High Council of Afghanistan and winner of International  Peace Prize of South Korea in 2018.  Mr. Ahmadi is a human rights activist and have a seasonal professional in peace and democracy in Afghanistan. He has more than fifteen years’ experiences of work with civil society in different positions. Abdullah Ahmadi have extensive experience in promoting of human rights and democracy values, social and political analysis related with civil society concept.
Abdullah Ahmadi holding Master degree in International Relations and BA in Political Sciences. He also received number of short training courses in a variety of issues and skills related to peace building, human rights, research, advocacy, leadership and management in European and Asian countries.
Abdullah Ahmadi is participated to numbers of international conference related to human rights, democracy, peace and development as speaker and panelist which was held in Canada, England, Germany, Netherland, France, Switzerland, Peru, Turkey, Cambodia, Nepal, Indonesia, India, Philippine, Tajikistan, UAE and etc countries.

The deputy minister of the Ministry of Refugees and Returnees is invited to participate in this event, as well as representatives of the civil society and representatives of returnees and refugees to the panel. Each panelist will explain the situation for Afghan refugees in neighbouring countries.
