Christian Vargas, co-founder and head of projects at Voices GY, a Guyanese non profit organisation that provides support to refugees, migrants and local communities, will share his experience about the Venezuelan crisis and how Voices GY supports refugees in the Caribbean. He will offer an insight into the challenges that refugees face in the Carribean region and how despite Guyana’s geographical and technological challenges his organization is supporting refugees. Voices GY is a registered non-profit organisation based in Georgetown, Guyana that provides help to refugees & migrants and local communities. Their vision is to create a truly integrated and cohesive society accepting diversity between different communities and people.
