The goal of our session is to bring together the perspectives of Migrant Organisation (MOs) and refugee support organisations in order to explore potential synergies that can amplify the support migrant - and especially refugee - communities build and receive.

Synergies between MOs like Gemeinsamer Horizont e.V. and social enterprises like jobs4refugees can amplify their impact - both, in terms of the quality of programs and in terms of structural benefits of interlinking classical NGOs with social entrepreneurship. Interlinking both perspectives can improve learning opportunities both for the target group as well as within the organisations. It can strengthen communities through actually offering support that is based both on the shared experiences of migration and on the knowledge about the situation and prerequisites on the German labour market.
